Re: Is vandalism keeping Wikipedia running

The things I could tell you about Mr. Pellegrini. What an amazing fat bastard. Did very little serious content work, just fought with/banned new users... Well, he is fat, but I don't hold that against him. Absolutely Dunning-Kruger full of himself though. As an example, I know the Falklands War was...

Re: subtle vandalism may persist

Haha, yes I write a lot - I'm rather prolific, what a loss for Wikipedia! I was thinking though, since all this has stirred up old memories - what they never understood, is that I gain no advantage from being unbanned. I gain nothing whatsoever from being a part of their community. They offer nothin...

Re: subtle vandalism may persist

Apparently back in 2008, I had some long email conversation with an Arbcom named FT2 - I kept asking for some specific reason that I was banned, like what did I do? Can I at least have a reason? I was banned without any kind of arbitration process as Wikipedia uses nowadays (this drama was way back ...

Re: Wikia's Uncyclopedia bites the dust

Oh gosh, I wouldn't know exactly what I might have or where, or when or with who or on what email address. I'm sure I have some emails with Jimbo Wales somewhere, as I talked to him on the phone a couple times, so there must have been emails. I remember saying something (on the phone) about depleted...

Re: Wikia's Uncyclopedia bites the dust

Probably. Apparently I convinced poetlister to be an admin on WR (no idea why or how), and then when she got fired she blamed me for awhile, but then decided that maybe Wikipedia was the real problem. I glanced at her Linked in, looks like she found a better job a few months later. If I had to guess...

Re: Wikia's Uncyclopedia bites the dust

Do you think you put up a repository of those emails somewhere? I think a lot of people would be very happy to see that. I barely remember any of this. January 2007, some kind of drama with Poetlister She wrote, "we won't be e-mailing each other again. Obviously, I shan't be replying to any post on...

Re: Wikia's Uncyclopedia bites the dust

David Gerard accused Someuser (Somey's username on Uncyclopedia) as being Lir, one of the early administrators and posters on Selina's Wikipedia Review. Gerard basically pushed Somey out of Uncyclopedia and that's how Somey came to WR. That's the story I remember. At some point, Selina removed Lir ...

Re: Wikia's Uncyclopedia bites the dust

David Gerard accused Someuser (Somey's username on Uncyclopedia) as being Lir Definitely not me, that's kinda fucked, but is no surprise. David Gerard became absolutely obsessed with me, going out of his way to try and dox and harass me IRL. Why? I think it's because he is a sexual deviant, and I l...

Re: Is vandalism keeping Wikipedia running

Look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Raul654 Instead of constructively adding to the site, he made banning people his primary objective - so much that he has the Block a User link handy right there at the top of his page. Some people simply can't produce anything of merit, so their sole source...

Re: subtle vandalism may persist

"Ultimately, it would seem that one should not be so quick to assume what one's government asserts, especially when that government is a wiki-government of appointed cronies and anonymous furries...." Haha, I make myself laugh twenty years later... I think my greatest successes were: https://en.wiki...
