Re: Lugnuts
As someone who still believes in the goal of Wikipedia its sad to see a bunch of the same clowns that banned me now ganging up on Lugnuts. Most of which dont create content, stub or otherwise. Having said that, his ban is another win as a critic and the loss of another high output editor. Personally...

Lugnuts
It seems long time and high output editor lugnuts is the latest editor to get bullied out. He's had so many bullies and serial assholes up his ass for so long it was really only a matter of time. The fact that Cullen ended up being the hatchet man isn't much of a surprise, he's a complete narcissist...

Re: WHAT ARE ALL THE LAWSUITS VS WIKIMEDIA FOUNDATION
What needs to happen is, instead of suing the WMF they start going after the editors or, potentially the donors. I feel like a case could be made that a donor could, in some situations, be considered an accomplice or party to the crime. For example, hosting child porn on commons; copyright violation...

Anyone in a professional capacacity like this, who uses wikipedia, should be fired. Wikipedia is biased and unreliable and those that use it are professional hacks!

Re: I am a bored bird
Until I just saw her picture on twitter I didnt realize I met her once or twice. I'm pretty sure one was at Wikimania when it was in DC. I think the other was at a meetup at the National archives...but I may be off on that one. Definitely remember seeing her though.

Re: The Wikimedia foundation wants to join the UN
I hate to give a hat tip to Wikipediocracy but someone posted a good point about who would actually need to approve the Wikimedia foundations consultancy. That list includes Russia, turkey and China, all of which have histories with the WMF. Me thinks there is absolutey no chance they're getting in....

The Wikimedia foundation wants to join the UN
The Wikimedia foundation stated today on twitter they believe they deserve to be granted UN consultative status. They've said this before a few times and I again say I think they are utter morons if they deserve a seat at that table! I attempted to post a screenshot but it says its too large, (like ...

Re: Using AI to edit Wikipedia
Thats cool, I've never been there. Makes me wonder what he would think about the likes of Twitter snd Facebook. I already know what he would think of Wikipedia because if he tried to edit they would block him.
