"Adumb" and his "graph of Wikipedia"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JheGL6uSF-4 I could tell this hapless nerd (with an annoying nasal voice) EXACTLY why he found the article "communities" shown. Because they correlate with the chart of articles I made more than ten years ago. See below. Wikipedia loves sports (especially Association ...

Gerbic rants again
https://skepticalinquirer.org/exclusive/ufo-conspiracy-on-wikipedia-claimsa-conversation-with-gsows-susan-gerbic/ And I repeat something I've said before on various fora and in email: I still think she enjoys fighting with cranks on WP, because she IS a crank. I say again: this problem could be made...

Re: Paid Editing on WP is permissible
Unnoticed paid edit war of the week: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Stankey See the talkpage. Fleishman Hillard is openly biasing it to make Stankey look like a great hero. Completely controlled by Jon Gray . It is not difficult to find scandals and "bad news" involving Stankey. "Pac Bell and th...

Re: A farewell to Andrevan
That's only one item about Andrevan's stupidity in the book wiki. Wasn't the worst admin, not the best--more of a side character. From the Ryan Bushby/Chillum/HighinBC article: Andrevan gave sysop power to one of Bushby's sockpuppets. I never found any "official approval" of this. Bushby was one of ...

Re: Research Article: Wikipedia’s Intentional Distortion of the History of the Holocaust
I really don't think that anti-Semitic bias is one of the big neutrality problems on Wikipedia - far from it. Generally it isn't. There's no shortage of editors who devoted to making sure of that, sometimes to a fault. What made this different was the obscurity of the dispute to anglophone advocacy...

Re: Larry Sanger found out about Jimmy Saville
Both Sanger and Wales just appear to be random web1.0 guys who were in the right place at the right time and possibly nothing else. People who were planning on competing like GNUpedia either gracefully let them have center stage and others like htg2g were a bit too jokey. But neither Sanger or Wale...

Re: Stephen Harrison is releasing a book about Wikipedia in August
https://www.stephenharrison.com/the-editors It's a NOVEL. Instead of spewing his usual propaganda, he's going to make fiction about Wikipedian-like freaks. I detect incoming cringe here. That nit can barely write "plain journalism" and making a fictional story seems like he wants to screw himself.....

Re: New WPO blogpost - "Nihonjoe Has Been Naughty"
From the pathetic babbling on the "Workshop" page : @Jessintime: my understanding is different than yours. While ArbCom was aware of the COI article on WPO, the only person who brought it up to us was an Arb. For me ArbCom acting on its own initiative should be reserved for exceptional circumstances...

Re: New WPO blogpost - "Nihonjoe Has Been Naughty"
A decision should be forthcoming "real soon now". There has been VERY little public discussion of this case other than the evidence, and a few stupid comments like this (things which I fully expect Piotrus to say). Some insiders continue to be "perfectly okay" with people paid-editing and making mon...
