Re: ArbCom elections 2019

There is only one woman standing. And she is standing for re-election. So whatever else happens, one thing that is definitely taking a nose-dive this year, is Wikipedia's ability to say they care about gender equality. No, actually one thing is definitely taking a nose-dive this year is the percent...

Re: ArbCom elections 2019

The 2019 Arbcom election is up to 22 candidates (19 Arbs), not counting the one Arb who stood down when it became clear that there were more than 11 solid candidates.

Just a friendly reminder that 19 > 12.

Re: Don't have a Bat-Cow, man

That's how it works. That's the guideline that applies... You're the one that sought documentation that what I did by stopping a unilateral de facto deletion of sourced content was kosher. It was kosher. Whatever. Even in this short comment, you're being a self-serving skeevy little fuck. Redirecti...

Re: ArbCom elections 2019

Well, Crow, you really were right about everything... Self-governance is dead at Wikipedia. Nobody wants to serve on ArbCom. We have no choices, no need to bother with an election. Democracy is not a thing. The situation is indeed desperate... You pathetic porta-potty pooper, you're so far out of yo...

Re: Wikipediocracy site broken

Well it looks like WPO is mostly back up but they picked just about the worst layout they could find. I sure hope that's just an experimental style till they get all the data loaded and patches loaded, cause god it's awful. I think it's pretty much a placeholder until they find something they like....

Re: ArbCom elections 2019

KrakatoaKatie and Isarra are in today, running the total to 12 administrators in the race, by my count. You're wrong again, Crow. You lose. Good thing you never put your small wallet where your big mouth is. That's very prudent of you, you flubsy fundused fluffy bunny... RfB P.S. Nope, Isarra isn't...

Re: Wikipedia Admins Censor Name of Alleged Ukraine ‘Whistle

Masterful analysis from the great TDA. As for a lack of reliable sources, just found these: The American Spectator https://spectator.org/eric-ciaramella-reelects-the-president/ The Washington Times https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2019/nov/1/rush-limbaughs-hilarious-take-pajama-boy-whistlebl/ B...

Re: Suggestion: Our own Wiki.

FWIW Wikipediocracy had its own wiki . Not open to the public. I even wrote custom content for it derived from the book notes. Wee Billy Burns pulled it down one day in July 2015, and I still have no idea exactly why (apart from his complaint that MediaWiki installations are frequent targets of hac...
