Oh, nevermind. It's back and unrelated to the upgrade apparently.

Re: RIP
I did get an email from Bluehost about upgrading their servers on March 13. Maybe that's the problem? The email: The Bluehost team is dedicated to providing you with the best resources for you and your website. So, we're excited to announce that we will be upgrading all of our servers to newer versi...

Re: Wikia's Uncyclopedia bites the dust
I wish I could remember all the details. Every once in awhile, some tidbit comes to mind and it's like yesterday. Derktar was planning to write a history of WR, but I think all the general upheaval of the forum and Selina's self-coup didn't help. I'm not sure if he got far in writing up the history ...

Re: Wikia's Uncyclopedia bites the dust
David Gerard accused Someuser (Somey's username on Uncyclopedia) as being Lir, one of the early administrators and posters on Selina's Wikipedia Review. Gerard basically pushed Somey out of Uncyclopedia and that's how Somey came to WR. That's the story I remember. At some point, Selina removed Lir a...

Re: Wikia and virus alerts
I only realized today that Fandom is Wikia. Wikia/Fandom also bought Curse LLC and now that belongs to Jimbo, too. Curse owns Gamepedia and now I have to wonder how Wikia is going to butcher it as well. I used to post on a gaming wiki that was taken in by Wikia. They really screwed it up.

I thought the IAC entity scared Sitush off? Or did he just stay away for awhile?

Re: News flash! There are Nazis in Israel!
I remember a BBC news article about the neo-Nazis in Israel. The Independent had a story about it in 2007:
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/worl ... 96392.html
Very strange that some of these Israeli neo-Nazis would have been murdered under Hitler's regime and yet they worship him.

Wikia and virus alerts
Has anyone been on Wikia and got a fake virus or malware alert? I keep getting them even on the latest version of Firefox and my virus program detects no problems. I've encounter similar problems on other wiki farms like Fandom.

Re: Gavin McInnes
Well, Gavin has been banned from YouTube for copyright infringement. m Isn't this like getting Al Capone jailed for tax evasion? Edit: Gavin's video posted by Eric a few posts before this thread now reads: Video unavailable "GAVIN MCINNES IS ..." The YouTube account associated with this vi...
