High ranking political figure shortly after one of the biggest revolutions in human history. Yet Wikipedia contains little more than her birth and death dates. It was not created by a new user either, it was created by admin Kusma in 2021 and then abandoned.

Re: Crap or questionable articles
WikiNits love to talk about military history and aerospace, which relates heavily to the military.
But it doesn't appear they like to talk about commercial space companies other than SpaceX (and then only because of Musk and his endless harassing of employees to work harder.)
Varda's first spacecraft was a success and landed back on earth last week--a difficult and major achievement. (There are videos on YouTube of the landing.) But all Wikipedia gets is this.

Re: Crap or questionable articles
I would suggest that the majority of Marvel-related Articles are crap I have probably mentioned that before this one is particularly bad
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvel_Entertainment
Whats wrong with it?
1. TV shows included there that shouldn't be there. Marvel Entertainment never produced anything themselves If the idea is to include all the shows and films that were licensed to a third Party to Produce then these filmographies should remove Marvel Television shows produced with ABC, and probably various Animated TV shows as well since those were produced in-house by various subsidiaries.
2. The film section seems to have a problem with figuring out the difference between feature film vs DTV film and Live-action vs Animation and it still has Madame Web as an upcoming film.
But its hard to fix this mess since the article has bad case of WP:OWN
The Marvel Studios article isn't much better https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvel_Studios for starters Marvel Studios as we know it to today didnt exist until about 2006 so Everything prior that point in the filmography shouldnt be there.
same as the other Marvel article and Marvel articles in general bad case of WP:OWN

Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show controversy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Bow ... ontroversy
size: 127,179 bytes
The article for the halftime show otherwise is:
Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Bow ... ontroversy
size: 14,388 bytes (its 9 times smaller)
The article about the game itself
Super Bowl XXXVIII
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Bowl_XXXVIII
size:63,195 bytes (its 2 times smaller)
If you ever want examples of wrong priories over at Wikipedia I would like to think this is one of the clearest examples.

Nice example, thanks. I might also point out that the largest contributor is a deranged Janet Jackson fan.Dr Mario wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2024 8:15 pmSuper Bowl XXXVIII halftime show controversy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Bow ... ontroversy

Never let fanboys control a "reference work". Because then you get mostly fanboy trash.

Re: Crap or questionable articles
Here we are in the 21st century. Millions of people are driving hybrid electric/combustion vehicles today. It is a major submarket in the enormous global automotive business.
But if you want to read about hybrid cars, the principal WP article is a semicoherent, broken, sad mess that apparently hasn't undergone major updates since 2012-2013.

Re: Crap or questionable articles
Wanna see a 2019 editwar that resulted in nothing but a tagged article?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Medi ... ry_Program
FYI: nearly the entire article was written by NormSpier. Exactly the type of editor Wikipedia really needs more of. He tried to write an article about the MERP, people screamed at him that he was "misunderstanding how the Glorious Wikipedia works" and was "biasing" the article, so he tried to make it "less biased" whatever that means. In other words, he was "wikilawyered" into submission. The article was tagged and forgotten. He received similar treatment when he tried to edit the ACA article. And gave up in 2020 and left.
Have a look at the kook who was fighting with NormSpier. Shortly after the 2019 squabble, Newslinger was given adminship. Nominated by none other than Ritchie333.
If you would like to know what estate recovery is really about, try a recent AP article:
https://apnews.com/article/medicaid-est ... 097d239b53
Hope you don't ever need Medicaid. Or a government-funded nursing home bed. If you do, and you're in one of those states that tries to "recover costs from the estates of decedents", sell your home and get rid of all your assets before signing up for Medicaid. That is (apparently) what NormSpier was trying to describe in the article.
Is Newslinger being paid to keep unpleasant facts out of the ACA article? This makes me wonder.

Newslinger tried to soak WMF for $10,000 but they apparently didnt go for it. s/he shouldve consulted with Harej and Isarra. the domain for sourceror dot org is "1337 Services LLC". they apparently host some antifa stuff and some German stuff.Medicaid estate recovery is a required process under United States federal law in which state governments adjust (settle) or recover the cost of care and services from the estates of those who received Medicaid benefits after they die.
on a personal note, Medicaid recovery sucks. my mom's house was siezed by the state after her mother died in 2012. medicaid is now a loan apparently.

Most of the sites Newslinger's "company" hosts are blank. Exceptions: https://2024.cryptorave.org/ It's a RAVE! With CRYPTO! Another one is https://gatorna.info/, a leftist "take action" site in Swedish, which doesn't seem to be very popular.badmachine wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 2:07 pmNewslinger tried to soak WMF for $10,000 but they apparently didnt go for it. s/he shouldve consulted with Harej and Isarra. the domain for sourceror dot org is "1337 Services LLC". they apparently host some antifa stuff and some German stuff.
Ha ha. Maybe the little shit is just a big Obama fan? Whatever, every past attempt to "regularize" those precious WP "perennial sources" has failed. Insiders with axes to grind, and content to bias, fight each proposal to a standstill. The more chaotic and badly-managed it is, the more self-serving tricks THEY can play. Newslinger really should have known better.
I should dox the little shit, but why bother. The Bird can give it a try if he likes.
Something similar happened after my mother died. Several months later I got a snotty letter from the State of New Mexico demanding $106,000 for "expenses incurred". "Respond within 90 days or a lien will be placed on real property." She died broke and there was no house or anything else to seize, so I told them to suck it.on a personal note, Medicaid recovery sucks. my mom's house was siezed by the state after her mother died in 2012. medicaid is now a loan apparently.
And remember: the original 1993 law was a "bipartisan effort" and signed off by Lil' Billy Clinton. After the healthcare reform written by Hillary was rejected for being "too costly". Situation was made even worse by complicated ACA rules, also approved only because of support by Dems and Reps. Welcome to the 21st century. Job 1 in Washington is usually Screw The Poor first. Using subtle methods. It will take voters decades to figure out they were "had".
