Association for Renewable Energy & Clean Technology

Post by Jake Is A Sellout » Tue Sep 28, 2021 7:21 pm

A not for profit established in 2001, this is apparently the UK's largest trade association representing this sector, and is used as an expert source by the likes of the BBC for both dry statistics and relevant opinion on government policy.

But it somehow doesn't warrant a Wikipedia article......

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia ... Technology

...which of course means it is unimportant, and can probably never even be cited in a Wikipedia article unless the BBC has first, and perhaps not even then if its a controversial issue.

Pretty hilarious, right?

This is all the result of consensus debate by Wikipedia editors, who apparently think they're quite smart.

But hey. It's not all bad. Thanks to the heroic efforts of Jess Wade, if you're a black woman who was possibly the first of your kind (maybe black women, maybe African American women) to discover (or just assist as part of a three person team, or a huge team) an element (maybe an element, maybe just a superheacy element), then you can be recognised by Wikipedia.

Because they're smart. They'd have spotted any issues with fraud or advocacy there. :?

Wikipedia.

Stupid is baked right in.
