Wikipedia is a battlefield of a nonsense war; to win the hearts and minds of people that have absolutely no influence on policy and outcomes.

Taking excerpts from the following blog entry out of context to make a point;

https://livingstingy.blogspot.com/2022/ ... ussia.html

The author mentions but does not see the fact that Wikipedia is a cult; he understands its a rabbit hole; and he understands people, organizations, political groups, and governments are trying to spin a narrative. Wikipedia is founded on bat-shit crazy."

But then again, most cults are founded on batshit crazy. Whether it is Jonestown, Branch Davidians, Guru Whoever, Charles Manson, or even Mormonism and Scientology, there is a baseline level of disassociation from reality that is necessary in order to join the cult. And this disassociation with reality ends up bringing down the cult, eventually, as reality clashes with fantasy, and reality always wins.

Curious, I Googled "Epic Times Scam" and found the Wikipedia entry for the Epoch Times, which is the correct spelling I guess. And once again, I am dropped into the Wikipedia rabbit-hole.

It seems the Epoch Times, according to Wikipedia, is a ultra-right-wing anti-Communist newspaper published by the Falun Gong cult in China. They supposedly support far-right candidates (and apparently Qanon) or anyone else who is virulently anti-communist, or more precisely, anti-CCP.

Gonzo "manboobs" Lira Chronlogy

-Had a Wikipedia page
-Had page deleted
-Lira went missing in the Ukraine for a day and the pinheads and the media went nuts
-Lira had his Wikipedia page rebuilt ; "we will make him better stronger faster" style
-A bit later Lira's page was shuttled away to draft status
-Guess What - LIRA IS AGAIN MISSING IN THE UKRAINE- twitter page is suspended

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gonzalo_Lira

Does this mean the Wikipedia page gets created again?

Oscar Goldman: "Gonzo Lira, astronaut. A man barely alive. Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first bionic man. Gonzo will be that man. Better than he was before. Better, stronger, faster.

Got a headache from reading the verbose and disorganized diatribe/grind of not-news-nonsense. It did have one good line;

"the system pigs" -- a term "Lira" coined; where he links news outlets, to government propaganda and policy, to big corporations, to oligarchs. I guess "system pigs" lost Tiffany Dover in their files... The "system pigs" killed Tiffany Dover and then covered it up! How dare they!

System Pigs; a worthy Wikipedia entry.

Speaking of pigs in a blanket; Don't tell the Wikipedians but they have an entry that covers the fact that "She is a real Porker"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porker
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pigs_in_a_blanket (which needs to be split into even more articles!)

Thankfully Wikipedia has a very skinny entry about a "fat advocacy" organization "that lacks mass scale!"

ISAA is dedicated to size acceptance and bringing an end to what it feels is unfair discrimination against large people. ISAA does not have the mass scale
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internati ... ssociation

But nothing about "Plus Sized Stores; or Big and Tall Stores - which (in my world) would be called Short n Fat Stores"

PS "Now we know that the System Pigs at Wikipedia dealt with both Tiffany Dover and Echigo Mole Socks the world will once again be safe "

Lira disappeared again (no arrested three no four weeks ago).. and mostly nobody noticed

Sort of mentioned "here" but not quite on May 15th viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2807&p=25265&hilit=lira#p25265

Countdown to Wikipedia page re-rection..

Where is "Laser Pig" when you need him? Or Gizzy Cat Bella? Buller.. Buller. Bella..
Epoch Times reporter Liam Cosgrove asked State Department spokesman Matthew Miller if the administration was aware of Lira’s detainment and how the US feels about Ukraine arresting an American for speech.

“So I will say in general that we’re aware of the report. We obviously support the exercise of freedom of speech anywhere in the world, and I’ll leave it at that,” Miller said.

When asked if the administration was working to secure Lira’s release, Miller said, “I’m going to leave my comments where I just left them.”

In the arrest video we get to see evidence of his house cleaning skills -- Someone buy Lira a toilet brush..

Also, when you don't have a Wikipedia page you might get a "lesser Google info panel"

It was "draft-ified" last November. Meaning the insiders want it to be gone, but there's too much arguing. Like it or not, the guy has a rabid fanbase, smaller but just as toxic as Andrew Tate's incel army. If Tate can have a ranting 107kbyte article, why not Lira? Not that he DESERVES IT.....or even matters....

Sort of related to Gonzalo Lira, Prior to being a ex-sex-patriot and man-o-sphere blogger and after playing filmmaker - Gonzo got some attention on Zerohedge and Russian TV via Max Keiser - he went on to bilk a real economist by stealing his website.

Sort of related;

Noticing the opinion-content-stuff on Zerohedge is more useless than it was over the years. As an extension there is lots of dormant "libertarian" content on Wikipedia..

The "long time Wikipedian" with some edit droppings on the mostly dormant Zerohedge page.

The mostly dormant Keiser article had some dickering from "Brown Haired Girl," Philip Cross and David Gerrard.

Updating the Eric Corbett story reminded me of this Atlantic article from 2015. About sexism on Wikipedia.

Read it. Unintentionally hilarious.

Lightbreather discovered that someone was posting images on a pornographic website and falsely claiming they were her.
Lightbreather went to Wikipedia’s Arbitration Committee, or ArbCom, *** ArbCom declined to take on Lightbreather’s case on the grounds that it may “out” the editor that had posted the pictures, or link his username to his real name. But by that time, someone had already opened a case against her, a female editor who often defended Corbett in disputes. She argued that Lightbreather approached Wikipedia with a “battleground mentality,” and that because Lightbreather had filed complaints against multiple editors in the past, she herself must be the problem.

ArbCom’s final decision: Lightbreather was banned from editing Wikipedia for a minimum of one year.
