Because they got away with it at first--partly because a few insiders (Coetzee, Niabot, Stefan4, Mattbuck and a few others) supported them, especially on Commons. Between this and the final infini-banning of Beta M in 2012, there was a STAGGERING amount of editwarring and fighting. And they really don't like to talk about it today.
