This seems like nitpicking over the mote in my eye over the giant sequoia in the disruptive user’s eye. I recall an admin who had userboxes on his page calling Boris Johnson a “complete nincompoop” and trump a “nazi sympathizer who values golf more than human lives”. I described trump as a pathological liar because he is. “Dimwit” is an insult but a mild one that you could have just told me to remove. I said the Userboxes were “tankie” because they are— the creator was defending genocide in deleted ones, and others claim German reunification is “occupation” and attack anyone who is critical of Stalin/Putin/other authoritarians. Easy prediction: he will survive this "scandal" because he's a deletionist patroller and the insiders like him and his politics. And so he will be free to cause chaos--probably for years to come. Fresh meat for the grinder.

Edit: I think somewhere in that thread someone found that over a third of his edits were to a "humor" subpage of his userpage or something like that.

I agree with the points made WaltClipper about Dronebogus' unfortunate focus on "cleaning up userspace" by nominating pages that no-one is realistically going to come across for deletion, which often turns into a massive time sink/drama fest. I also think that their nominations of other peoples sandboxes and userpages for deletion as Fancruft [29] or Webhosting [30] [31] is extremely hypocritical, given that >20% of dronebogus's edits have been spent making stuff in their own userspace like User:Dronebogus/True facts about Wikipe-tan, User:Dronebogus/Wikimedia Hall of Dubious Fame and User:Dronebogus/Basement.

What is Dronebogus' actual deal? It seems like his whole presence is a jokey POINT about what you can get away with on Wikipedia. Have you seen his userspace? his commons uploads? I can't tell if it's mockery of a genuine obsession with the bizarre.

Yes I have. He probably sees Wikipedia as sexual/a videogame. To be fair, it kind of is. They let him get away with clearly violating their rules because:
1) Many Wikipedians are also sexually deviant and would be sympathetic to him.
2) While Wikipedia's rules on political speech prohibit extended or unnecessary expression of beliefs on one's userpage, and been enforced in much more minor cases, it's very unlikely anyone will take action against him do to one reason: his milquetoast US neoliberal-progressive politics. Not only are the same (or similar) politics share by the vast majority of Wikipedians (and nearly all with actual power (with most "exceptions" like El C just being radlibs), but they are also supported directly by the WMF, their allies, and the government agents they work with.

It's been considered, unfortunately both Wikipedia Review and Wiki-pedo-cracy tried it and sold almost nothing. Greg Kohs had a Cafepress page selling junk (women's panties as I recall) with Jimbo's face--all he received was loud condemnation from the WP cult.

There just aren't enough seriously disgruntled-enough Wp users. Even asking for donations to keep forums online did not work. This forum costs almost nothing except for the yearly DNS registration that I pay for out of pocket. It runs on Suckadmin's private server. There isn't enough traffic to worry about. (THAT would be a GREAT problem to have.)
