Excellent, thank you. In retrospect I should have probably just emailed someone privately. But I wanted to make a public comment so that it couldn't be ignored as easily. Oh well. This is a minor sideshow in my life anyway, it's a minor sideshow even in my Wikipedia-related life. It would be nice to catch Dronebogus. I think the link between Raxythecat and Vizorblaze is the key piece of evidence IMO.

I think keeping to one CU increases the chance of it going very well (i.e. going out of their way to help you), but also increases the chance of it going poorly (if they don't like you). With Beeb, he seems to lean anti-Dronebogus, so that could help you. Contacting all the CUs also gets more eyes on you, which is generally not a good thing in the wiki-world.

Overall, I lean towards keeping it private to just you and Beeb, but you can contact more if necessary.

Yeah that was my intuition as well. The more CUs I talk to, the more likely it becomes that I'll talk to one who's completely irrational and stonewalls me for no apparent reason.

"Gender-affirming" is the official newspeak term now, but it's a gross misrepresentation of what it actually is and it's a politically loaded, agenda-pushing term that simply doesn't belong here. I would elaborate further, but I'm sure that, if I did so, several posters would go crying to the admins over someone spreading "transphobic hate speech" on a talk page. Regardless, "sex reassignment surgery" - which is also highly misleading, but not quite as much so - is certainly a far more neutral term for this article to be titled on a website that supposedly prides itself for its neutrality.
