The demise of Hasteur

Post by ericbarbour » Fri Jul 24, 2020 12:06 am

Never heard of him? He was a very popular bot author. God knows how many bots he wrote. I saw he had 15 of them 'officially approved', and there may have been others that churned the database without approval.

Two weeks ago he died of Covid. Supposedly went 6 days from "perfectly healthy to a coffin". Oddly, there was no public notice on WP of his demise. They just put him on the "Deceased Wikipedians" page and locked his accounts.

Let us not forget that he didn't like Arbcom -- and this was his "reward" for trying to say as much. "Hive of scum" indeed.
