I wouldn't trust Gizmodo on anything Wikipedia, or anything for that matter. Gizmodo might be the single worst digital journalism outlet I've personally dealt with. They have absolutely no interest in fact checking, they just don't do it. It's a paper mill that pumps out 5 minute summaries of other people's commentaries, getting the facts wrong of even the commentaries it likes.
