Crow posted about him here a few days ago but it looks like someone deleted it. Here's Crow on reddit saying that Hemiauchenia is literally a child but I don't know what the evidence is supposed to be.

And he's deiberately misspelling it "Hemenchuia" over and over.

It's quite possible. In fact Hemiauchenia is such an obvious editing addict (in one small area--extinct animals), he/she/? probably has several other accounts. They would not be difficult to find, assuming anyone cares enough.
