Moops banned as a UPE

User:Moops and other related accounts were banned for alleged undisclosed paid editing. He apparently screwed up by using one of his socks to contest a RfD:

Most of the accounts were vandal fighters, even more proof that Wikipedia is nothing more than a dick measuring contest on who can revert the most vandalism and use it as justification to promote their own self-interests. Sad to see such a dedicated user get banned by a simple mishap of attempting to meddle with a RfD that is classified as UPE. If it is classified as that, you are better off getting your account banned intentionally to avoid embarrassment.

Funny that you made this post, I saw this yesterday, but I didn't think this forum would be interested in it. I found it from a link on an ANI post discussing Dronebogus.

I was actually thinking about sending him an invite to this forum, but I was lazy then and didn't feel like finding proxies. I had actually interacted with him before.

The checkuser block policy is the exact type of thing IAR was intended to prevent.

Also, it appears that it was a CU block, not a UPE one.

Waste of time. Professional paid editors have learned their lessons by now and will never admit anything.
