Sorry to hear it. He was unquestionably annoying quite often and had some kooky ideas, but did considerable useful work for those ungrateful Wikipedians.

rip, I don't think I ever spoke with him but it seemed like he got misrepresented a bit. Yea I read the RW article, and it reads like a hatchet job by someone with a personal grudge.

Lomaxs' public claim that Larson that wasn't a pedophile, the claim that seemed to evoke the furor of the wikisphere in recent years, seems tenuous at best though. I thought Larson even publicly self-identified as a few of the -philes.

As far as cold fusion, it doesn't appear to be dismissed entirely, even among senior fusion scientists

Academia is littered with bunk and junk that consist entire subjects though so cold fusion could easily be among that.
