Sensible person, lawyer, extreme wikiholic

Law / Lawyers. Plus everything else.

Attended several WikiConferences across the globe. In a hat and sunglasses.

One of the most active Wikipedians in history. Seems to like people knowing it too.

Smart, but not so smart he can't see his own bias.....(first declared article)

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?ti ... d=10468135

The fact that all his subsequent edits to that article over the many years since he published it, were minor edits and reverts, might explain how he rolls. Unfair snap judgement? Welcome to the real world, Doogie.

Lawyer?

Censorship

Inactive editor and Administrator.

Virtually all edits were 2005/6.

Now only randomly returns after long periods of virtual inactivity to do random streaks of less than 50 edits and Admin actions.

Taking the piss. His 8 edits in 2021 means he can spend the entire year doing nothing, then make 33 edits on New Years Eve to buy another whole year of Free Adminship.

I mean come on......

Admin Reorientation

Are there any reasonably active admins who would be interested in conducting a reorientation for old admins such as myself who'd like to pick up the mop again? Many of the technical and/or cultural changes of the past years may be dissuading some old-timers from making a gainful return to the wiki they loved so well. Babajobu (talk) 08:40, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
How about resign, spend two years as an actually active editor, then run for RfA?

Unbelievable this shit is still allowed.

Reeeddiculous.

Wisconsin

Inactive Admin (no Adminny interest at all in the 2020s)
I've been a Wikipedia administrator since August 10, 2005. I took an extended wikibreak from about early 2007 to late 2009, but have since returned to editing with gusto
Hmm. 59 edits in 2020, 35 in 2022, 10 or less in every other, isn't what I would call "gusto".

Inactive Administrator (2 logged actions & handful of Admin edits this mil!ennia)

Classic burst and tail, flatlined by 2015, Covid? minispike of 173 edits in 2022, but failing off again, but already done enough to secure free Admin rights for the next three years (assuming one edit per year, naturally)

Bcorr

Former Bureaucrat

A user with 10,047 edits. Account created on 7 September 2003.

Nominated by Menchi.

From the Wikipedia Jurassic period, when you could go from zero to Admin in 811 edits.
He doesn't sound bitchy or hateful, so he probably will make a good admin who is not bitchy or hateful.
American history, Christianity. A very naughty boy.

One of those religious editors Wikipediocracy wants to talk about?

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?ti ... 1194070054

Moderately? active editor (gnome/patroller) & admin

Very active 2003-2006 inclusive. ~7,500 of their edits

Trying to re-engage ever since? Can't crack 300+ edits a year.
After being relatively inactive for a while, I had been greatly (re)inspired by attending Wikimania 2006 .....! However, the need to focus on being a parent has greatly reduced my available wikiediting time :-(

Bruce Abramson. "Well known as administrator BD2412, he has been a major contributor to Wikipedia's otherwise-spotty coverage of American law. He has also shown blind patriotic zeal towards "protecting" Wikipedia, and supporting other administrators, right or wrong. Otherwise Bruce is a remarkably clueless, ignorant fellow. At least his law-school education was useful. " Got a photo of him. He tried to destroy his original account, and failed.

Cary Bass. He was an early WMF employee "Volunteer Coordinator", meaning he checked admin candidates and their real identities (then destroyed all the traces) and cheerfully helped to cover up some pre-2008 scandals.

Brian Corr, very early FOJ/suck-up, antiwar activistic leftist from Cambridge, Mass. I have a photo of him sitting next to the Cunctator at a VERY early Wikipedia meetup. Incredible that he's managed to keep his admin rights all this time.

Once again, I can offer you a copy of the book notes. It has substantial information about people like this. Much of it will help you to profile admins.

Dammit, listen to me, I'm offering you a massive database of Wikipedians and their stupid activities, mostly pre-2011. No charge and no obligation. Take the offer. PM me.
