Arbcom 2018 Candidate: The_Rambling_Man

This was a surprise, The_Rambling_Man has self-nominated. I think the voters (and we know who the voters generally are: the administrative crowd and most visibly the worst among them) are going to rip this guy apart. Few will vote for him. He has almost no chance in my view.

Rambling is a cantankerous sort of content editor and has been a subject of one or maybe two Arbcom cases. He was in a huge spat with Kww, but I don't think that was the one that got Kww desysoped.

I never had a problem with TRM myself. I always got along well with him but we both have the same opinion that do nothing admins shouldn't trump the editors who are doing the actual content development.

I agree he doesn't stand a chance but I think it's telling that several of the people applying are non admins (although several previously were).

Time will tell though, historically most drop in at the last minute to minimize criticism and limit the questions they are required to answer.

lol this is hilarious. TRM is not even mentioned in the book wiki, except for one major thing: he was defending Jerem43, the Burger King employee who controlled the Burger King articles for some years and committed other COI abuses. TRM also helped to get Kww desysopped in 2015; see the arbitration case. Lovely, isn't it?

And now the "nut squad" is after TRM himself. They already harassed him into resigning his admin and bureaucrat power. Solution: run for Arbcom. Whoo.
