Other Wikis That Have Bad Mods

Post by CityCar » Wed Apr 10, 2024 10:23 pm

I did mention in my introductory post that Logopedia has some really bad admins who are power-tripping. Would you like to mention others that are just as bad as wikipedia? Let's hear you.

Fandom.com (formerly Wikia) is a complete sewer, and has been a sewer since it was started by Jimbo Wales and Anglea Beesley in 2004. Oh, the things I could tell you about them.

(And there are a million things I CAN'T tell you, because they run in a completely opaque manner. There is no noticeboard to complain to if a moderator bans you from one of their wikis. And now that it's run by an "equity" firm, the secrecy has only multiplied. "Community Central" is one of the most heavily censored "public" websites I've ever seen. And yes, it continues to be run by Lisa "Sannse" Carter Cushway, one of Wikipedia's earliest insiders.)
