What I have been working on is creating a script that will automatically post links exposing Wikipedia and Wikipedia admins to new users' talk pages and e-mail users with valid e-mails similar content.wexter wrote: ↑Tue Jan 31, 2023 11:15 pmWell you got two people to sign up - so that is not going to work.
If you can program in python - program something to search for embarrassing stuff on Wikipedia.
It is not hard to do manually as every article and every reference within the articles are totally wrong.

Re: Ban Bbb23 - petition
r/insanepeoplewikipedia is an existing sub. But since it's so inactive with last post being 4 years ago you should go to /r/redditrequest to request it, revive it and make it big.

Re: Ban Bbb23 - petition
YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME WITH REDDIT. It is even MORE corrupt and unreliable than WP. I know people who have tried to start new subreddits or usurp abandoned ones--they found themselves locked out, or pushed out, by anonymous nobodies who then proceeded to do nothing with it.
The window for creating a new sub (and being LEFT ALONE to run it as desired) seems to have slammed shut very quietly around 2017-18.

I think the point is not for serious discussion (that can stay here or on similar sites), but rather to convince people to join our "movement".ericbarbour wrote: ↑Wed Mar 01, 2023 6:54 pmYOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME WITH REDDIT. If you did want a reddit-like site for discussion, you could use something like lemmy.ml

Twitter is good also considering that Musk had "freed the bird" no matter how you disagree with his politics. Just use hashtags #Wikipediacriticism or #Wikipediasucks when tweeting.Bbb23sucks wrote: ↑Wed Mar 01, 2023 8:28 pmI think the point is not for serious discussion (that can stay here or on similar sites), but rather to convince people to join our "movement".ericbarbour wrote: ↑Wed Mar 01, 2023 6:54 pmYOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME WITH REDDIT.
