The revolution appears to be over.

Last act was Boing! engaged in some epic trollery, where he genuinely seemed to think it was unclear what that motion was preventing. A motion that said Beeblebrox had been breaking confidences, ignored a warning, so had had his ability to see confidential information removed for six months. The mystery why some Administrators and their friends are subjected to severe harassment, while others live a quiet life even on ArbCom, remains unsolved! Lol.

As was said at the time, this suspension goes past the end of the year when he was due to step down as an arbitrator and thus lose access to the Arb mailing list, to guide future Committees regarding what crimes should be met with what punishments. And as Boing! already knew, former Arbitrators retain their CheckUser rights even after standing down, so this suspension reassures people he cannot be passing that to his scuzzy mates for at least six months, and probable never if he is never given It back (or never asks for It back).

It remains the case that the only people defending Beeblebrox were two high ranking Wikipedians, Boing! and Mason/28Bytes, who also happen to be regular Wikipediocracy posters. So it seems likely they too have been breaking confidences.

Amusingly, Boing! seems to have antagonised the Arbs so much with his transparent bullshit aimed at slinging as much mud as he could, they have hinted that this isn't over for Beeblebrox, and he will also have to answer to the Ombuds Commission for breaches of his NDA.

Then we presumably get to see the hilarious sight of the Wikipedia community (via their ArbCom bitches) refusing to desysop a Administrator who has become the first (of over a hundred) to ever be suspended as an Arb, and has been found to have breached their NDA.

And who has to sign an NDA? Anyone with checkuser or oversight powers--meaning all arbitrators, since they're the controllers of CU/oversight rights.

As I keep saying: they get a little more paranoid and secretive every year....the NDAs were proposed in 2013-14 and are now forced on all NEW employees. But not on the few surviving old-timey insiders, I suspect. Been in there too long.

If there is a file full of signed NDAs in a safe at the WMF office, it would be the ultimate Doxing Hell Package, containing real names and contact info of insiders. Therefore they will guard it with their lives. (Assuming such a terrible thing actually exists. The WMF is one of those outfits that probably owns many large paper shredders, and runs them constantly.....)

I have to say I am beyond amused that beeblebrox got a paddlin'. He is just one of a long list of serial losers that have deserved to be banned long ago.

Lol. He wrote an appeal draft that he's pathetically trying to pretend isn't an appeal: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Just ... ways/draft

I'd just like to say that despite the fact that Wugs just voted to throw me out, I will be voting for them and encourage others to do so. He is undeniably a strong asset on the committee and a very thoughtful person. (new sig) Just Step Sideways from this world ..... today 07:43, 28 November 2023 (UTC)

Can Beeblebrox honestly get away with saying shit like this anymore?

Anyone who needs four seperate editing restrictions just to keep their endless disuption to a minimum obviously is not a good fit for the project.
How many suspensions from ArbCom does it take before a disgraced Arbitrator does the decent thing and resigns their own Administrator privelages?

It better not be four.

It should be one.

Beeblebrox has filed a case at ArbCom: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia ... Beeblebrox

Apparently, this is not an appeal according to him. The only thing he wants back is the access to private information back. You know, the thing he was suspended for!

Well this is a win win for my books.

1. Beeblebrox is making a massive tit of himself, reaching ever new heights of giant tittery

2. ArbCom (old and new) are still taking him seriously, still wasting their precious time on what is and probably always was one massive exercise in trolling, wikilawyering, grandstanding and general whaambulance stuff.

It is just so fitting that he has never looked more suited to the role of Wikipediocracy Ambassador to Wikipedia.

Never has the "we" he famously used to imply there has been a latter day meeting of minds and common purpose between the two sites, looked more appropriate.

They're both absolute fucking mongs when it comes to discharging their most sacred duties.

The "difference" between Wikipedia and Wikipediocracy is like the "difference" between Nazism and Zionism.
