From a PM on Reddit:
a wikipedia user deletes perfectly good edits about the right wing South Korean dictatorship selling baby girls for cash to foreign sexual abusers during the Cold war, just because the account that added it was blocked as a sock by a checkuser.

"Interesting" that no Wiki-Feminists are on the case here.....maybe if you get Genderdesk to write about it? (Good luck!)

Looking at the SPI archive, it's really bore all the hallmarks of politically-motivated railroading for me. The edits themselves, especially regarding Japanese war crimes, seems fine by normal encyclopedic standards. The user looks like a rookie who don't know the intricacies of Wikipedia's labyrinth of conventions.

Before jumping to the conclusion that the user is a bona fide victim of petty politics on Wikipedia, are there hints that copyvios is probably the culprit, which I've missed?
