Here's an interesting Reddit post about Equinox: https://old.reddit.com/r/RealWikiInActi ... iktionary/

That's pretty good but it's too old to post a comment. And I'd say plenty.
One that REALLY gets me is this post about Dr. Blofeld. I know exactly who he is in real life, I've caught him doing paid editing, and can even show you a photo of the school he attended.
Trust me, he WILL return to WP no matter how many bridges he burned. They need their suckers.

I have a very long draft about his (Equinox) history on Wiktionary that I plan to post soon.ericbarbour wrote: ↑Wed Sep 06, 2023 12:35 amThat's pretty good but it's too old to post a comment. And I'd say plenty.

The more of this stuff I see, the more I think: this HAS to be either Brian Speer's undeclared sock, or a very very angry Englishman, judging from comments on his userpage and talkpage and his en-WP editing.....either way this is a brutally pedantic asshole. Even JzG isn't this petty--and that's saying a lot.Bbb23sucks wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2023 2:20 pmThis is funny: https://en.wiktionary.org/w/index.php?t ... d=76296335
In the past Speer always had the primary Wiktionary "monopoly" on being the resident hostile pedant. Equinox could not function on Wiktionary with Speer's full approval, and probably his protection too.
https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Wiktiona ... _for_admin
(The extreme pedant who nominated Equinox for adminship, Metaknowledge, hasn't been back since February 2022. Maybe they should desysop him/her/it. Frankly, most of the admins on Wiktionary should be dumped--they don't need the mop to grind dictionary entry content. So many of them are putting in non-English words from a whole host of other languages. Waste of effort.)

Equinox doing blatant POV pushing, hides it as "adding an explanation": https://en.wiktionary.org/w/index.php?t ... d=79073990

How many n-words does it take to fill a dictionary? Quite a few, apparently https://en.wiktionary.org/w/index.php?t ... ms&from=NI.
Most of these don't seem particularly necessary or notable, nor does most of the other slang and profanity on Wiktionary. They seem to have an entry for every stupid pop-culture term and neologism.
