Now on Breitbart.
T.D. Adler wrote: Not mentioned were other removals of unflattering material by Nguyen. These included details about Harris benefiting in her early political career from a relationship with future San Francisco mayor Willie Brown, then the Speaker of the California Assembly, who she dated. Also excluded were the substantial salaries she earned at positions to which Brown appointed her and a quote from Brown’s mayoral campaign manager about how the relationship benefited Harris. Another editor subsequently removed all mention of Brown, claiming “sexist” framing.

Honestly its surprising katherine Maher got involved. My guess is her interest has more to due with her far left political agenda
Please, let us not confuse incompetence, crassness, or stupidity with a "far left agenda". Maher probably looks at Harris and goes "gee, we need to kiss her ass harder, in case she actually becomes VP".

Another thing that cracks me up: Nguyen's name closely resembles that of former arbitrator Blnguyen, aka YellowMonkey. A top-rated abuser of process on WP for years. Not the same guy though. Blnguyen was an Australian science student. He bailed in 2010, right after this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia ... llowMonkey

God, those little fucks really have no idea how absurd their little world looks "from the outside".
Desired outcome

Now

YellowMonkey will acknowledge the community consensus that this block was in error

In future

YellowMonkey will communicate with the community and with editors against whom he takes administrative action as expected of all administrators
YellowMonkey will endeavour to warn editors whom he considers to be engaging in blockable activities in all cases other than serious abuse
YellowMonkey will adhere to the blocking policy when blocking editors, including keeping block lengths proportional
YellowMonkey will, within reason, respond promptly to concerns raised by editors about his admin actions
YellowMonkey will acknowledge threads at community noticeboards concerning his actions
YellowMonkey will continue to be a highly respected administrator, former arbitrator, and functionary who has done a tremendous amount of good for Wikipedia.

Well for what it's worth I don't think Katherine is stupid, far from it. She is like the David Koresh of the Wikipedia movement. She is intelligent, cunning and manipulative. Like bringing in ryan Markey to be her lap dog. He was desperate for a job after the creative commons mess he created. So he is absolutely loyal to her.

Have you ever seen her in interviews when they refer to her as an editor? She is quick to state, in an obviously loathing way, that she isn't an editor.

So she clearly has another agenda than improving knowledge. I would agree with you that at least partially includes radical left extremism. Reading her twitter posts seems to support that assessment.

But not as cunning as she THINKS she is. A really smart operator would be working behind the scenes, at someplace with real money and political pull like the Gates Foundation or some other major nonprofit. The WMF is a chickenshit San Francisco nerd club--even with $100-plus-million coming in every year. Wrong coast, wrong city, wrong following, and two decades of bad management.

When they hire a well-connected Beltway lobbyist and start to influence legislation directly, then you take them seriously.

User:JTRH has been busy on the Kamala Harris article. Last month he was fighting to include made up stories from her autobiography.
JTRH wrote: Feel free to fact-tag them, but you shouldn’t remove unless you can affirmatively demonstrate that they’re not true.

Section title won't link.

NPOV Violations [WP:AB and WP:AUTO]: "Facts" Substantiated Only By Harris's Autobiography.

Is JTRH a Democratic Party operative? Let's find out.

heh

FB and Twitter are full of shit memes and rants about Kamala for the obvious reasons. So of course, inevitably, her article will be editwarred into shit. And more half-assed articles about her will be created and edit-warred. Although it might take a while to get this bad.

Until she became a possible VP candidate, no one gave a shit about her--esp. on WP.

Honestly its surprising katherine Maher got involved. My guess is her interest has more to due with her far left political agenda and how a scandal may look for donations than its affect on anyone article or doxxing.
Harris is one of two Senators from California and used to be the San Francisco DA then California Attorney General. Sure they like her politics but it's probably more specific than that. This is big power in their and their big tech donors' own backyard. How many Wikipedia biographies have had four WMF-sponsored edit-a-thons or class assignments dedicated to building them? What's the chance that Maher has never met Harris or asked her for any favors?
I lean strongly left by Americans standards, but would say I'm centrist in England and have some strongly pro free market views. I like most of Harris' positions on the surface, after a brief scan of her Wikipedia. However, from past experience I would be pretty certain that stealth paid editors are at large. More than that, that the entire point of Wikipedia rules on credible sources are really rules on their friends and donars. The problem, really, was that anyone really believed them to be better. I would be very unsurprised if KH's articles have been paid for.
