The main function of Wikipedia is to provide revenue to Google.

"Best practices" is a lie that some Wikipedian's believe in - creating an "encyclopedia" based on nonsensical "best practices" is another lie.

AI as an information source for consumers will be equally or more deleterious - yep. AI (which will be a broad set of technologies) will make smarter people more effective and the masses even dumber and more feckless - yep.

They're mostly from Portuguese Wikipedia because no one else cares about this stuff. Who is Andre Ventura? Some Portuguese Trump apparently – ask One More Scientist I guess since that's where he started. So we get the same kind of crap as with "Small Hands" Gamaliel, just shameless partisanship except this time with a mostly random third party proxy target. What is Chega? The guy donated $10k to this Chega and now he is their chief financier or something. It''s nuts.
