Here he is on Facebook, Edimon Emerique da Silva.
What do you know, a paid editor on freelancer, Edimon Francisco E. and Edimon Emerique.
https://www.br.freelancer.com/job-searc ... mediawiki/
Winner winner chicken dinner. And he's running around deleting all his social media.

He WOULD be an undeclared paid editor. Such crap happens over and over. And no doubt he runs dozens of sock accounts. If anyone on pt-WP gave a shit they could chase down da Silva's sock army easily. Assuming that pt-WP isn't a corrupt hellhole......which it probably is. It's so unimportant that, apart from Beria Lima's involvement (she was a very loud and combative head of the Portuguese WMF chapter for a while), there's nothing about it on the book wiki--expect for the article about the 2014 scandal in whicn someone from President Rousseff's office was using pt-WP to defame prominent Brazilian journalists.

This person is an admin on pt-wiki AND obsesses over content about autism. Just as a for-instance.
https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usu%C3%A1rio:Fronteira

Whatever pt-WP had for an "arbitration system" was a deranged mess AND was apparently voted out of existence in 2012. They had a mediation system, that basically died in 2013. Big red flags and not good signs of a "healthy" language Wikipedia.

Linkedin still up, with a pic (not reposted just linked). This might help De Paco serve him the lawsuit. Look for the autistic dork with the haircut.

I'm guessing he can't keep a job for very long.

What happens on ships when no women are around? I'm just asking.

It sounds like he's saying he serves diverse nationalities. That is commendable.

The story is starting to spread

https://www.techdirt.com/2023/08/04/wik ... bout-them/
Wikimedia does not pay for article creation, nor does it simply ignore bad faith edits that do nothing more than allow any random editor to grind their ax publicly.
Wrong on both counts. I've seen them happen over and over. Wealthy "Digerati" like the Google founders, Craig Newmark, and Pierre Omidyar have given money to the WMF and received happy-smiley content in return. In fact, Omidyar literally bought a seat on the WMF Board. Not to mention the numerous hardcore WP "insiders" who were hired by the WMF. (Very few of them survived very long in those sinecure jobs. Combination of incompetence and mental illness IMO.)

And you've all seen examples of "random editors" being allowed to grind axes on WP content. Try telling Mr. Cushing about it....

Good to hear that's not the only reason.
