The words that followed that sentence?

YMMV I guess.

How is she "left-wing". She is very involved with the imperialism machine.

If you mean Maher, she's definitely not leftist just liberal. The CIA and State Department lean liberal actually.

I meant Maher. I am not familiar with Molly's politics (I remember the crypto thread, but I do not know of her general politics).boredbird wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 8:59 amMolly is? Thats' news to me.Bbb23sucks wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 7:15 am

So far as I can see she's the same way. Most of the Wikipedians are.Bbb23sucks wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 9:51 amI meant Maher. I am not familiar with Molly's politics (I remember the crypto thread, but I do not know of her general politics).

Scroll down on that thegrayzone.com page, past the two pics of Jimbo, and start reading about Katherine Maher. It gets really spooky. Yep, I say she's CIA all-the-way.

Wow, really, you think the CIA has an interest in Wikipedia? /sDaniel Brandt wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 9:10 pmhttps://thegrayzone.com/2020/06/11/meet ... ative-ceo/

Have you ever noticed that The Grayzone is deprecated as a source, while sources like VoA are almost unanimously defended as reliable?
How about the article about The Grayzone? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Grayzone
One of the most glaring examples of how Wikipedia is broken when it comes to writing articles about modern politics.
Or maybe it's not "broken", maybe it's producing the intended result.
Remember, truth is not the goal.

Thanks. Although I don't get the "regime-change actor" descriptor (aren't they robotically opposed to any actual "regime change" in their own countries?), this is basically accurate.Daniel Brandt wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 9:10 pmhttps://thegrayzone.com/2020/06/11/meet ... ative-ceo/
This part is "amusing".
Look at the history of the Meedan article on Wikipedia. It's being paid edited, the vast bulk of it is the work of only two accounts. This one is almost certainly a sock account belonging to a paid-editing or "reputation" company.Next, Maher co-founded a little-known election monitoring project focused on Lebanon’s 2008 elections called Sharek961. To create this platform, Maher and her associates partnered with an influential technology non-profit organization, Meedan, which has received millions of dollars of funding from Western foundations, large corporations like IBM, and the permanent monarchy of Qatar.

Once again I'd like to get Max Blumenthal's attention so I can send him a copy of the book wiki. Still haven't figured out how. Tried Twitter and Facebook PMs--no response.
