Here's a short compilation of the stupidest threads I have seen on Reddit:

https://old.reddit.com/r/unpopularopini ... nt_get_it/

OP makes a thread about why pedophilia is good in anime. A commenter replies, accusing OP of voting for Biden. OP responds and a small debate ensues over Puerto Rico statehood and if they should overthrow the US government.

https://old.reddit.com/r/doomer/comment ... l_drained/

An attempt at some sort of anti-motivational quote with an image of Joseph Goebbels, Nazi propagandist.

And for the number one most insane thread I have seen: https://old.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/com ... e/c8ugln5/

This is thread is so insane that it has to be seen to truly absorb the mania. I can try to summarize: Basically an insane rant that starts out with an extremely detailed description of sex with a cartoon pony and ends in a rant about the Illuminati and Feminists.

Passing note: since the shutdown and purge of "uncooperative" moderators, Reddit's front page has been aggressively slanted towards stupid, happy-smiley crap from places like r/mademesmile and r/aww. But sometimes, really grim stuff appears.

(Don't be surprised if they delete this. I see NO evidence that the revolt's aftermath has "improved" moderation generally.)

It's definitely troll infested.

There's a lot of sections there that I don't bother with because of the trolls.

Lots of sections are plain anti-Pakistan. Not to mention many Pakistani Islamists there who tick me off with their ignorance and give the rest of us a bad name.

That is a bit of "ironic" Nazism using what looks like an actual Goebbels quote from his diary before he found Hitler. Paul Joseph Goebbels was considering suicide after finishing his doctorate because he was an arch-Rightist and Germany seemed to be going towards a Left of center reality in the booming '20s (of course he thought 1918 was a betrayal.) So yes, that's a dumb crypto-Nazi "joke" on a website that has been host to thousands of them (Honkler, that banned subreddit where races were spoken about in code as brands of air-conditioners, everything jcm267 aka nolibs was part of, etc.)

They let r/truefascism last over a year before finally banning (I actually still thought it was up until now): https://old.reddit.com/r/truefascism

And yet I tried to create r/ProHamas and it was instantly banned, literally the moment after I clicked the "create subreddit" button. They still haven't banned r/NonCredibleDefense despite users regularly calling for "ironically" murdering hundreds of millions. A few months ago, I saw a comment in r/Europe with over a thousand upvotes that was basically calling for a "final solution" for Arabs. Yet I was banned for saying "death to Israel" even after I clarified I was referring to the state of Israel only.

The r/TrueFascism users seem to have migrated to a new subreddit (which has also existed for over a year and still isn't banned): https://old.reddit.com/r/ClassicalFasci ... have_been/

Also, Reddit supposedly has a rule against promoting hate towards "vulnerable groups", but this only seems to apply to transgenders. In many city subreddits, users say some very hateful things towards homeless people and the admins and mods don't do anything about it. I would think being homeless would be just about the most vulnerable group there is.

Nazis aside, r/doomer is actually full of unintentional hilarity.

Horrible thing to admit, but dammit, what am I supposed to think about posts like this? Looks like whiny teenagers to me.

If you "liked" that, check out the antinatalism subreddit.
