Just a small aside:
Jimmy Wales believes most, if not all, of that. Seriously. He is still a big fan of Ayn Rand and her "Objectivism" nonsense. Which is spoken of on Wikipedia only in the most glowing terms.

I heard you saying in one post that in the very beginning, Tim Starling posted Ayn Rand propaganda before deleting it after they remembered about copyright. Could you link me to that?
Also, I posted the Monthly Review (an independent Socialist magazine,

None of those policies would really effect me one way or the other honestly.
Am a freelancer so minimum wage laws don't really apply to what I do. Anti-trust laws seem to be hardly ever enforced. Also most federal food subsidies seem to be actively harmful but might not be worth throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
Not sure how most people would be effected by removing a minimum wage. Would that inspire worker unions again and make American pay like Denmark or more like Somalia? No idea, but at least our countries has developed telecommunication infrastructure to do freelance web jobs unlike most Somalians. As well as other highly developed industries Somalia doesn't have.
Randians seem good at marketing their ideas to the common person, usually by implying no regulations are better than the current nightmare social/worker welfare policy (which they previously gutted or stalled). And a lot of citizens are just desperate for change, whether it's the fixer-uppers or the destroyers.

PS: Tim was okay being a trustee of the WMF, before it became a "big deal". Shell and Michael Davis were installed by Jimbo fiat, and removed a few months later because the idiot "community" demanded elections for trustee positions. Whereupon they installed even crazier people: Angela Beesley and Florence Devouard.
Bomis faded out in 2007 and so did Tim Shell.
Result: as usual, repeated attempts to create Shell's BLP were attempted and rejected. He REALLY did not want to be "internet famous". His name now forwards to Bomis. I wonder how this was "decided" off wiki. I suspect either Tim or Jimbo showed up on IRC and demanded its deletion. Most other prominent early WMF people have bios; not Tim!

You can read all about this shit in the Bomis article. Unusually, it hasn't been heavily censored in recent years and is relatively accurate. Jimbo and his shithead fans evidently gave up.
