If you "liked" that, check out the antinatalism subreddit.
Great, even more comical misery. Wish they would take the rest of Reddit with them.

Many people have already ditched Reddit anyways because of the unpopular API pricing changes.

Not many. Maybe people who are terminally online have, but 95% posters and 99.9% have stayed. If anything, the reduction of authoritarian mods actually temporarily improved the website... at least until they were replaced with CIA scabs.

Plus, the "protest" was probably the most pathetic and pointless thing ever.

If the major news subs were shut down during the protest it would've made a huge difference.

Some did, but they just reopened a few days later. If the protest has an expiration date, they'll just wait it out. The only lasting change the protest made was that many users deleted their post histories, this negatively affected the user experience, but did almost nothing against corporate. Now Reddit is littered with deleted posts like that. Ironically, most of the people who did this are so addicted that they just returned to posting, not even bothering to hide under a new account.

True.
But there are also genuine trolls there driven by ignorance.

Think Canada is a "friendlier" country? Not on Reddit it ain't............

Even outside cyberspace, Canadians can be very hostile and arrogant/self-righteous, not to mention obnoxious.
