In spite of the media reports, and threads here and on WPO, there is still no article about Mr. Law.....the talk page for the SS article continues to attract annoying busybodies. This month we get more wikilawyering from Freedom4U. Christ what an asshole. A clear "spectrumite" who can't stop obsessing over Korean disasters.....and Sanctioned Suicide. No freedom in there.

Especially in the last few months. That includes Freedom4U, who is actually keeping whitewashers out at this point. This thread title is getting outdated, but might just use it regardless to keep from having multiple threads.

The Canadian poison-by-post killer allegedly claimed to be a retired New York doctor under the name ‘Greenberg’ and interacted with members of a suicide forum

The National Crime Agency (NCA), which is investigating Law in the UK, is now probing whether he was posing as Greenberg to shepherd vulnerable people to his poison business.

Relatives of those who took a substance sent to them by the Canadian chef reported loved ones had been approached by a mysterious character known as “Greenberg” before their deaths.

Greenberg had created an account on a suicide forum ― claiming to be a retired New York medical examiner ― and repeatedly spread the name of Law’s website among members.

The Times has established that Greenberg supplied the name of Law’s website to at least four people on the suicide forum and two of those later died.

The forum and its social media manager claim they are unable to perform basic server server tasks to verify info about the 'Greenberg' account on their own forum. Given their response to everything up until now about founders and recent domain registrants was "delete/hide fucking everything", wonder if they are taking the same approach to Greenberg.

A measure to criminalize the act of encouraging someone in Kansas to die by suicide has been signed into law. Gov. Laura Kelly signed the measure, HB 2144, on Wednesday. The new measure punishes someone for “knowingly encouraging another person to commit or attempt suicide when the person knows that such other person has communicated a desire to commit suicide,” the bill read. Perpetrators could face a felony if the person died, with a conviction carrying 11 to 36 months in prison. In cases where the victim of suicide encouragement does not die, the charge would be a misdemeanor, The Eagle reported.

The bill was successfully pushed by parents of those who lost children on the incel-adjacent suicide site. During their testimony to the Kansas legislature, the leading parental activist specifically called out actions which occurred on social media due to the owner of the incel site.

And I suspect this will be overturned in a court challenge on First Amendment grounds.

Doubt that had any effect on the Kansas legislators. Families of suicides had been pusing for a law for years prior. This sort of bullying online has been constant since before the public internet existed. Similar things happened on Prodigy and Compuserve and private bulletin boards, going back to the early 1980s.

About a week and half earlier UPS delivered a package to me as Steve and I were leaving for the airport.
It contained Sodium Nitrite and I handed it to William. I did not know the package contained Sodium
Nitrite. It was from Lab Alley in Austinn, TX. I said, “William what is this?” And, he said, “school supplies
mom.” And, the week of the funeral, Sodium Nitrite continued to show up in our mailbox.
My husband initially was able to access William’s computer and the pictures on his Apple I Phone. We
know William logged into Sanctioned Suicide at the beginning of December 2021. We also know William
had instructions from Sanctioned Suicide telling him how to die by Sodium Nitrite. We shipped William’s
computer and Apple I phone to a computer expert in Chicago. The computer expert plugged William’s
computer into his equipment and discovered William placed bitlocker on his computer which has made
it impossible for our expert to evaluate his computer. The phone evidence we could not recover from
Apple. Sanctioned Suicide tells its users to destroy their technology before they die.

Sanctioned Suicide also operates as a market place where those looking to purchase the
means to end their lives (usually a type of poison) can find links to sellers who provide it. I
verified this last year, when I found details on the forum leading me to a seller named
Kenneth Law, who sold me a substance called Sodium Nitrite which, when dissolved in
water and ingested in sufficient quantity, prevents blood cells from transferring oxygen and
kills you. During this time, I was in touch with a journalist at the Times of London, who was
investigating Kenneth Law. His subsequent article led to Kenneth’s arrest. Kenneth Law is
now facing 14 counts of first degree murder in Ontario, Canada.

It wasn’t long after he died that I looked on his phone and saw multiple tabs opened, they were titled “Sanctioned
Suicide.com”. I went on to search for other victims of this site, which were not hard to find. I
made calls to every law enforcement agency there is, and I’ve had many conversations with Congress. All of this
started in June of 2020.

There's an entire army of parents who lost children on SS pushing these law changes. The above is only a very small fraction of the hundreds of them. Every congressional action related to suicide since 2021 has also been a direct result of this activist campaign by the moms and dads of this specific site. It also all came from the same Congresswoman as far as suicide encouragement related federal legislation since 2021, ie Lori, who stated her entire crusade was as a result of listening to an episode of The Daily about SanctionedSuicide in 2021.
