What are you talking about? All I see in that thread is loads of complaining about favorite playgrounds being demolished, airport security, and assorted other things that were easier before abusive lawsuits and social media.

Someone should have posted an item about the general-aviation manufacturers almost being destroyed by lawsuits in the 1980s. But no, this is a gang of Reddit nerds reminiscing about their misspent youth and all that guff. Keep hoping someone destroys Reddit via lawsuit. But no, they have Section 230 to hide behind. All I can say is: Big Whoop. Musk has no say over Wikipedia, he is allegedly desperately trying to keep Tesla afloat (but if he's wasting time on ex-Twitter, then he knows his car company is sunk), he shot any remaining goodwill with his Roman salute antics and DOGE.

Hope you're right, although a company as big as Tesla would be very difficult to crash completely. They own the largest, and apparently best, EV charging network in North America. Since other EV manufacturers are switching over to the Tesla plug, in several years everyone will be using Tesla chargers. About time they got an "industry standard".

Musk could just sit there, shut his mouth, and rake in cash--but he can't help being a jerk. And he has a platform for his jerkness. WP is merely one minor target in his vast universe of crazy-libertarian ideas.

Teslas are not selling well in Europe because Musk bankrolled Trump's campaign, then he danced around and gave Nazi salutes. And this is on top of the failure of the Cybertruck. They have not come up with a new sedan model in over five years, which is OK if you are a Soviet car factory or Ford of Argentina (they built/sold the 1962-63 Falcon from 1964 to 1993 with very few updates)....but is utterly insane if you are a bleeding-edge electric car firm.

And that is what is going to cost him his CEO-ship of Tesla, it becomes hard to sell a car where the American/European customer knows all the madness of the company leader (how dangerous the factories are because he won't put in safety markers, the build quality issues that arose from his bad management of personnel, etc. ) on top of what he has been doing in Washington since January. This is why Volkswagen A.G. keeps the world from knowing what guys like Ferdinand Piëch thought about the world (hell, they have done a good job at hiding all the rejected prototypes of air-cooled Beetle replacements from the 1950s-1960s because the 411/412 was an utter turkey, and VW was forced to buy NSU to get their Ro/80 sedan in 1969. Audi was the outcome of all that.) Tesla should be studied by auto company executives for how not to do it, and why you need to avoid rock star management.

That was only yesterday. I could tell these "angry libertarians" all kinds of disturbing facts about "good Wikipedians" of the past who turned out to have pedophilic tendencies. Long list of horror shows. But of course they won't notice or read the massive text dump I would drop on them. Loads of it happened prior to 2013 so it's "ancient history" on WP.

Because it's being claimed that the tweet was "OMGOMG DOXING", chances are good the article will be kept. Shaming them on social media like this only causes the ranks to close. Riposte97, the creator and largest editor of the article, is a classic WP stereotype.....left leaning, can't stop bitching about Trump, infests talkpages with jabbery, and prone to dogwhistling over current affairs. Typical.
