Wildcat strike at Signpost?

Because no one else is doing it--not even the media.

With Kupdung gone, the situation has basically reverted to what it was before, as Bri relayed on the 19th.....
Unfortunately we don't really have a concrete plan for how to keep things rolling here. My time will be limited, but I will try to keep things rolling with regular issues and see who shows up. It may mean publishing with limited content for a while. Maybe people will notice and decide to contribute, like you.
They're just a few days out from their next due date, and there is no sign of a new EIC. Well, unless you count someone turning up and saying they'll do it, while confessing they have no clue what the role entails.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the state of the next issue is looking a little threadbare. I'm not sure if this is normal for them, progress wise, but I'm pretty sure they didn't switch to a monthly schedule just because they preferred having three weeks off each month.....

There does look to be a nice crossword ready and waiting for the Humour section, which must have taken some work to design. The lawyers might take issue with 4 down ("A foundation that tricks students into contributing to Wikipedia"), and 3 down looks likely to offend also ("Girly biography Project, Women in _____").

I'm kinda rooting for them now, they're so plucky.

Just posted a new issue for 1 October:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia ... 2018-10-01

Kupdung (lol) is out again and Bri sez
The Signpost will attempt to maintain a monthly publication schedule even if it is at the expense of content.

That's a laff-riot, the Signpost has never carried much "good content" anyway. The bulk of their past history has consisted largely of reports of internal shit-explosions, pissing and moaning, and occasional personal attacks.

If that's not laffy enough, read the "Recent Research" section....

PS if anyone can be bothered to "out" him, Bri used to be called "Brianhe" and unquestionably lives in Kirkland, Washington.

He was put up for adminship in 2016, and failed.

Without question he will try again (If Wikimedia doesn't collapse first). And I suspect his "editing" of the Signpost is intended to mollify his many critics. Clearly a suck-up with ample free time.

SPOILER ALERT

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Sign ... nswers.png

Stretching Commons' requirement for "Educator Value" to breaking point methinks.

They didn't bother to change the questionable clues I see.....

Let The Signpost become the new Wikipediocracy. Why not? Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 00:52, 14 October 2018 (UTC)
The SignPost already does a far better job of investigating and criticising Wikipedia than the fanboys of Wikipedicracy (when it's running, Kuodung's output excepted), would seem to be the obvious answer....

Someone up the voltage on Kupdung's treatments, he's still missing the last few years of Wikipedia criticism history from his memory banks.

I don't see any problem. they have already Wikipediocrazy as a replacement. You can talk there endles about the blessings of Wikipedia, Jack is always there to protect you and comfort you when you start to cry, you can tell as much wiki bullshit as you want and nobody cares. Wiki enemies are blocked and brave Jakeass even defended WO on the gender blog.
I don't understand the problem. A shit blog post like Ming wrote? Fantastic! TNT who is defending the total corrupt steward system? That is criticism! Crying GW because of short a bad block? She may complain day after day because how in the world it is possible someone of the wiki nobility got a bad block. I am only waiting for the appearance of our Drmies, just to high five with Ming.
No, Wikipidiocrazy is the perfect successor of the Signpost.
